Margunn BjørnholtMargunn Bjørnholt was the 30th President of the Norwegian Norwegian Association for Women’s Rights from 2013 to 2016. She is a sociologist and a Research Professor at the Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies. Her research fields include gender-based violence, work, family and gender equality, men and masculinities, and migration. She has formerly worked at the Work Research Institute, the University of Oslo Department of Sociology and Human Geography, the Regional Development Fund and the National Institute of Technology, and has served as a national expert on gender equality to the European Commission. She was also the first President of the Norwegian Women’s Lobby from 2014 to 2016.
